A Collaborative Process
First, we need to get to know you and your project needs. We start with an introductory phone call to set up your initial meet & greet with you, in your space
First On-site Visit
This on-site visit is a 1 hour to 2 hour appointment with your TAB Designer(s). All financial and decision makers should be present to review the scope, project investment and our letter of agreement. At this visit we will also discuss your lifestyle, routines, wants, must-haves, and desires. We listen carefully to appreciate your individual style and gather insights that will assist to form both design and functionality. A consultation fee is requested for this first meeting. If your project moves forward with us, this investment in your project will be credited towards your signed letter of agreement. If you decide to proceed with this appointment, measurements and photographs of the existing space are conducted immediately so we can get started right away. If you need time to think things over, that is perfectly fine… measurements/photographs will be initiated at a later date.
Creative Brainstorming, Selection, & Planning
Once we receive the signed letter of agreement and required retainer, the next meeting is set at our office. Here’s where we identify the components that will delineate and elevate your space. Whether your venture is a simple refresh, renovation or new construction, we will present multiple conceptual schemes as needing. Schemes can include but are not limited to: inspirational images, paint swatches, mood boards, and product samples. This appointment can also include well-thought-out interior architectural and space plans as applicable.
We respect that the time of all involved is valuable, so we streamline decisions by offering thoughtful choices for your feedback and approval.
With preliminary decisions made, we will then create photo-realistic renderings to review in 5-10 business days (depending on the size and complexity of the space). These renderings not only allow for you to have an amazing visualization of the items chosen for your specific space, but it can be an investment saving moment if you are unsure about specific aspects as this will be documentation for final approval on items and the perfect time to make any final changes.
Product and Material Sourcing
During this phase we will finalize drawings and space plans as applicable. Additionally, we will source everything from architectural finishes to furnishings. The intent is to have all construction necessary items on hand prior to construction initiation so that your contracted construction team can be in and out of your space as quickly as possible. Proposals are created for final approval and then invoiced for purchasing. We oversee the ordering, expediting and specifications, coordinate with all members of your design team, trade professionals and workrooms, keeping your project on track.
Finally, our team will execute against the plan and coordinate with contractors and craftspeople at every step with your best interest in mind. We will share progress and keep you engaged and excited the transformation begins.
Once construction is complete and it’s time to place furniture, hang window treatments and accessorize. Our mission is to exceed your expectations. We want you to love your new space and be inspired by it day after day.
